Douglas fire and rescue crews dealt with two crashes on Wednesday.

At lunchtime they were called to Central Promenade when two vehicles collided.

There were no injuries there and as they attended the incident, they were called to another.

A motorist lost control of their Ford Focus 200 metres from Kate’s Cottage.

Paramedics escorted the driver to the ambulance and transferred the driver to Noble’s Hospital to treat minor injuries.

Fire crews made the vehicle safe, and assisted the police clear the carriageway.
