A car was left upside-down on its roof after it crashed in Baldrine.

Fire crews from Douglas and Laxey discovered the overturned vehicle on the Main Road following a call out at 3.05am today (Tuesday).

The occupant was out of the vehicle when the crews arrived and received care from the Isle of Man Ambulance Service.

One major pump and an enhanced rescue vehicle from Douglas and a major pump from Laxey was used at scene of the single car collision, as well as a duty officer.

Crews were in attendance for a short time before the vehicle was made safe for recovery.
