Emergency services were called out to an accident on the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road at Glen Roy.

A Ford Ka failed to negotiate a tight right hand bend, hit an earth bank and came to rest on its side.

The driver was trapped inside but manage to free themselves before the emergency services arrived.

They were treated for minor injuries at the scene by paramedics.

Fire crews from Laxey and Douglas attended the call-out which came at just after 5.40pm yesterday (Tuesday).

They made the vehicle safe for recovery and were in attendance for 45 minutes.
