Emergency services were called out to rescue a casualty trapped in a third floor flat.

The casualty couldn’t move from their flat on Drury Terrace, Douglas, due their position and suspected injuries.

They were extricated through a front window on the third storey of the building by firefighters using an aerial ladder platform.

The casualty was transferred to a waiting ambulance.

Emergency services were called to the incident at about 10.30pm last night (Thursday).
