A company this week admitted failing to comply with health and safety regulations at the 2019 Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival.
Switched On Entertainment Limited, whose registered office is at The Curragh in Ballaugh, had previously pleaded not guilty to failing to discharge duty under health and safety regulations and failing to comply with regulations.
But on Tuesday, advocate Peter Russell entered a guilty plea on behalf of the company to the second offence while the first one will be dismissed on the sentencing date.
In coverage of a previous court hearing, we reported that the Department of the Environment, Food and Agriculture had admitted health and safety breaches while setting up the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival which led to a child breaking her leg.
The three-year-old girl was with her mother in the Villa Marina Gardens when a metal bench fell on her.
Sentencing for the DEFA was adjourned sine die until after the outcome of any trial for Switched On Entertainment.
Sentencing for both parties will now take place on December 1.
A basis of plea for Switched On Entertainment will be handed in on that date.
