A man from Andreas will stand trial after denying assault.

Dieter Paul Johnson, aged 21, of Larivane Estate, pleaded not guilty to the offence at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.

It is alleged that he assaulted another man on Middle River Industrial Estate in Douglas on December 12 last year.

A pre-trial review will take place on October 5 - he’s been bailed in the meantime.
