Tyler Jack Snape broke a curfew and ran from police after being spotted in a car.
Prosecuting advocate Hazel Carroon told the court that the 22-year-old was granted bail on September 3 with a condition to obey a 10pm to 7am curfew.
Despite this he was seen by police in the rear seat of a car on September 15 at 1.50am at Derby Road in Douglas.
Police stopped the car and Snape gave a false name.
He then got out of the car and ran off only to be caught and restrained on the ground.
Defence advocate Matthew Wilshaw asked for credit to be given for his client’s guilty plea entered at the first chance.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes said that Snape, who lives in Willaston Crescent, has four previous convictions for assaulting police, one for resisting arrest and numerous offences committed on bail.
Mrs Hughes told Snape: ’You have a long history of difficulties with police officers. You need to get over it or you’re going to spend a lot of time in custody.’
