The Department of Infrastructure have been charged with 17 health and safety breaches.

Advocate Peter Russell represented the DoI in the Deputy High Bailiff’s court.

The department are charged with 15 counts of failure to discharge a duty and two of failing to comply with regulations.

Mr Russell asked for a six-week adjournment as he said the evidence had only recently been served and consisted of 10 large files.

The case was adjourned until October 23.

The details of the alleged breaches were not outlined in court.
