Police are seeking witnesses after an assault between a man and a woman which occurred within the Summerhill Glen, Douglas, at about 1pm on Saturday, February 18.

The couple were at the bottom end of the glen nearest to the glen’s entrance.
It is believed a group of four people walked through the glen just before the assault.
A police spokesman said: ’If you were one of these people, police would urge you to come forward and speak with officers.
’Police would like to reassure the public this was an isolated incident and the male and female were known to each other. A male has been arrested in relation to this assault but has been released on police bail.’
