A missing person has been found due to joint efforts made by a number of island emergency services.
Early this morning, the Search and Rescue Dog Association Isle of Man, Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service, Ramsey Coastguard, Isle of Man Coastguard and Isle of Man Constabulary worked together to find a person missing from home.
After an extensive search, which took more than five hours from the initial report, the missing person was located by the Ramsey Coastguard in an ’isolated area’.
A police spokesman said: ’We would like to thank all partner agencies who assisted in the search this morning, many of whom are volunteers and provide a sterling service to the community as a whole.’
