A pet dog was rescued from a house fire in Douglas.
Red Watch firefighters were called to the address on Meadow Crescent at 10.30pm on Thursday night following a number of 999 calls.
The occupants had got out of the building but the family dog was still inside.
Fire crews using breathing apparatus, high pressure hose reels and thermal imaging cameras found the pet after a search lasting 15 minutes.
They used an animal oxygen mask and chest compression to resuscitate the dog before it was handed over to an on-call vet for further treatment.
