A man who got into a fight that culminated in a town centre shop window being shattered has been bound over to keep the peace.

Nicholas Derek Jones, of Fairfield Avenue, Onchan, rowed with a man after leaving Bordellos nightclub which ended with the pair wrestling outside Chrystals estate agents then shattering the window in Victoria Street, Douglas, on June 29.

Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the court that there had been difficulties with CCTV and no formal complaint from Chrystals so the binding order had been deemed appropriate.

The 32-year-old was bound over to keep the peace for 12 months.
