Fire and rescue crews were called out to help a man who was stuck in a loft.
A specialist line rescue team assisted the ambulance service when removing a man from a loft at a Peel home on Tuesday (October 9).
The casualty was not injured, but was unable to get himself out unaided.
Using ropes and control devices, the emergency crews helped lower the trapped man to the ground floor once he was secured into a stretcher that is designed for confined space rescues. The man was taken to Noble’s Hospital to be checked out.
