Four people from Douglas have appeared in court in connection with an alleged burglary.
Ryan Ali Mahmoud El Meligy, 23, of Tromode Road, Samantha Dunn, 25, of Sherwood Terrace, Karl Allen Cameron, 31, of Sherwood Terrace, and Tara Lee Ashlyn Cowell, of Cronk-y-Berry, are all charged with committing the burglary at an address in Sherwood Terrace on July 13.
Mr El Meligy was represented by advocate Ian Kermode, Ms Dunn by David Reynolds, Mr Cameron by Paul Rodgers, and Ms Cowell by Kate Alexander.
Mr Kermode, Mr Reynolds, and Ms Alexander are all challenging committal to the Court of General Gaol Delivery saying that there is insufficient evidence and therefore no case to answer.
A committal challenge hearing will be held on November 9.
Mr Rodgers said that he was happy for committal to take place for Ms Cowell, who has pleaded not guilty. She will be committed to the higher court on November 9.
Bail continues for Ms Dunn while Mr El Meligy, Mr Cameron and Ms Cowell are remanded in custody.
