Adrian Piotr Wlochynski, aged 19, of Allan Street, Ralfs Rimicans, aged 20, of Farmhill Meadows, Wiktor Budzinski, aged 20, of Princess Avenue, and Nathan Paul Moffatt, aged 24, of Castlemona Avenue, had the case against them adjourned until Tuesday, August 29, at 10am.
Mr Wlochynski is represented by advocate Deborah Myerscough, Mr Rimicans by Ian Kermode, Mr Budzinski by Paul Glover while Mr Moffatt represented himself.
The advocates asked for the adjournment to allow time to speak to their respective clients.
The four men are accused of being involved in an incident with a man on August 12.
Mr Budzinski is also accused of possessing £10 worth of cannabis.
Bail was granted for all four men in the sum of £500 with a condition that they reside at their home addresses until their next court appearance.
