Peel Coastguard rescued a woman who had injured her ankle while walking on Peel Hill on Monday.
The team was paged to transport a woman to safety at 2.55pm, after she had slipped on the wet grass and injured her ankle near Corrins Folly.
A coastguard spokesman said: ’We drove as far as the telephone mast and continued on foot with the paramedics where the casualty was located near to Corrins Folly.
’Once the paramedics had stabilised her, she was lifted into the stretcher and carried down to the vehicle and driven back down to the ambulance.
’The team returned to the station and were ready for the next call-out by 4.30pm.’
