Police in the north of the island are appealing for information relating to a fire at a derelict house.

The fire happened at the property on Cranstal Road, Bride, on Thursday October 1.

On arrival it was clear the fire had been alight for some time.

A police statement said: ’Fire Services dampened down the area before standing down. The building is now dangerous and the walls and gable ends are in danger of collapse.

’The area has been secured behind HERAS fencing.

’Police are investigating the circumstances which led to the fire and are keen to speak with anyone who may have any information which would assist them with their enquiries.
