There has been a kitchen fire on Stanley View in Douglas.

Just before 7pm yesterday (Friday), the fire service responded to reports of a kitchen fire in a domestic property in Douglas.
On arrival, crews discovered a small fire contained to a single pan on the stove which had caused moderate smoke logging throughout the property.
A breathing apparatus team quickly extinguished the fire before removing the pan outside. A positive pressure fan was used to clear the residual smoke.
Crews were in attendance for 45 minutes.
