A Douglas man who’s been accused of stealing his ex-girlfriend’s mobile phone will stand trial.
Twenty-seven-year-old Darren Noel Dooley, of Oak Avenue, appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
He denied taking the phone on August 6 and of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on the same day.
He also entered a not guilty plea to a further charge of intimidating a witness on August 7.
An application for bail was refused - he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on August 15th.
