A man and woman from Laxey have appeared in court charged with theft of £18,135.36 belonging to Lonan Gentlemen’s Fellowship Sponsors’ Club.

David Paul Hodgson, aged 44, and Ann Maria McGrath, aged 52, both of Pinfold Hill, had the case against them adjourned until July 4.

Bail was granted with a condition to live at their home address and not leave the island.
