A gathering in Laxey has led to one man spending the night in police custody.

Officers responded to a report of an unlawful gathering in the village but when they attended the address, the occupant refused to answer the door.

The man ’could be seen trying to hide through the windows’.

Officers then entered the house and arrested the man.
