A 33-year-old Douglas man has been charged with threatening to kill two police officers.

Carl Joseph Bridson, of Head Road, is yet to enter pleas to the two counts of making a threat to kill or cause serious injury.
He will be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on September 11 as the offences can only be heard in the higher court.
Mr Bridson was also charged with property damage, to which he entered a ’no plea’ response, and resisting arrest, to which he pleaded not guilty.
An application for bail was refused by Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes and he was remanded in custody.
