Donovan Bradley Kitching, aged 36, care of the Isle of Man prison, has denied assaulting a prison officer.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on March 13.

A pre-trial review will be held on September 22.

Defence advocate Deborah Myerscough said that there may be a potential legal argument regarding abuse of process and CCTV footage of the alleged incident was awaited.
