The police are appealing for help in locating the rider of a motorbike following an incident on Tuesday.

Officers said the bike, believed to be an electric one, was involved in an incident at about 3.30pm on Tuesday, May 12 in Douglas.

The rider is described as early teens, wearing grey trousers, black jacket and a red and white motorcycle helmet. He was also carrying a small bag over his shoulder.

The machine is described a black in colour and looking similar to a 125cc motorcycle. It does not have a rear registration plate displayed.

Officers are appealing to the rider of this machine to come forward and contact Officers within the Roads Policing Unit at Police Headquarters on 631212.

Anyone with information about either the rider or the machine is also asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The machine is said to be ’unique to the island’s roads and quite distinctive’.
