A motorist was treated for minor injuries after his car rolled on King Edward Road, in Onchan.

Fire crews from Douglas and Laxey along with paramedics were called to the scene at about 9am today (Wednesday).

Fire station officer Tony Duncan said: ’On arrival it was found that the vehicle had rolled and landed back on its wheels across the Manx Electric Railway lines.

’The male occupant was able to get himself out of the vehicle and was treated on scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

’Fire crews made the vehicle safe and power to the railway was isolated so that it could be recovered.’
