The police have confirmed an investigation is ongoing on the Mountain Road following a crash.

Officers closed the road between Ramsey Hairpin and The Bungalow following the crash which has left one rider in hospital.

The crash is believed to have occurred in the area of Black Hut.

A police statement said: ’The mountain road between Ramsey and the Bungalow will remain closed for a short time whilst specially trained investigators carry out an investigation.

’One rider has been taken to Nobles but is believed to be in a serious but stable condition.’
