One person remains in hospital following a serious assault in Douglas last week.
Police were called to the Woodbourne Square park after residents reported a violent disturbance at about 11pm last Wednesday (September 16).
Two individuals were left requiring hospital treatment for injuries described by detectives as ’severe but not life threatening’ following a serious assault.
Detective Inspector Michelle McKillop, who is leading the investigation, said: ’Inquiries are actively ongoing.

’At this time we are not disclosing level or detail of injuries or any details relating to the ongoing enquiries as that would undermine our investigation.’
