A man and woman from Liverpool have been convicted of trying to smuggle heroin and cocaine into the island.
Martyn Young, aged 45, and Leah Victoria Hanley, aged 29, both of Diana Street, admitted jointly committing seven drug-related offences.
They were arrested at the Sea Terminal on July 9.
The heroin has been valued at between £7,000 and £14,000, depending on how it was later cut, while the cocaine was said to be worth £2,500.
The duo admitted two counts of production of heroin to the island, possession of heroin with intent to supply, production of cocaine to the island, possession of cocaine with intent to supply, production of class C drug pregabalin, and possession of class C drug subutex.
They were both committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery to appear there on July 29.
They were remanded in custody.
