Police are appealing for the public to help them find a driver who nearly caused an accident in Douglas.

At about 3.45pm on Wednesday pedestrians were crossing the zebra crossing at the top of Stevenson’s Way, Farmhill.

A bus stopped to allow for them to cross.

A white vehicle travelling in the direction of Anagh Coar also stopped at the crossing.

As the people crossed a silver 4x4 vehicle overtook the bus and drove across the crossing narrowly avoiding a collision.

Police would like to identify anyone who witnessed the incident in particular the driver of the white vehicle who stopped at the crossing.
