Police have provided a further update to the incident that closed Victoria Road in Douglas at the weekend.
It has been confirmed that two people suffered injuries, one suffered an apparent stab wound and another had injuries consistent with blunt trauma.
Neither of them suffered ‘life-threatening’ injuries and both have now been released from hospital.
Detectives also confirmed that six people were arrested and later released on bail for various offences including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Investigations are continuing into the incident which involved a group of males and females.
Police insist there was no risk to the public and the incident involved individuals who knew each other.
Emergency services attended the scene on Saturday, April 20, at Victoria Road near the junction with Broadway at about 2am.
Several roads were closed for several hours on Saturday morning.
