Police are investigating after a man was subjected to a foul-mouthed tirade.

It happened at 10am on Tuesday on the Marine Drive, Douglas, near the arches.

The man was abused by four cyclists.

Police say that this caused him ’a degree of alarm and distress’.

Officers believe a woman was present and possibly witnessed the abuse. Police say they would like to speak to her or any other person who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident.
