Police are investigating what they call a ’violent altercation’ in Ramsey.

It happened at about 9.10am on Thursday (March 29) in Parliament Street, outside ‘The Tasty Bite’ shop.

Constable Mark Kerruish said that the driver of a white van and a male pedestrian were involved.

A number of pedestrians were in the area at the time.

He urged anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Ramsey police station on 812234.
