The police are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash that happened in the early hours of Saturday.

A car crashed in the area of Auldyn School, Lezayre Road, Ramsey, at approximately 12.30am.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in that area or had driven through that area at this time and may have seen anything or have dash cam footage.

Police said the road was closed between Gardners Lane and Bircham from just after the crash until 7am this morning.
