Police in the west are investigating the report a dog bite that occurred around 2pm on Sunday September 6 within Archallagan Plantation.

This incident took place on the ’Community Blue Trail’ as it runs along the western side of the plantation.

A spokesman said: ’We would like to speak to a lady whom we believe would be able to help with our enquires.

’This lady is described as being in her 30s, of average height and build with mousy/light brown medium length hair.

’The lady was in the company of a very young child and had 3 dogs with her, Two of the dogs have been described as being a tan colour and the third dog was black and looked to be a newfoundland or similar breed.’
