Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged during a row in Douglas town centre.

The incident took place 10 days ago (Thursday March 15) on Howard Street, directly outside the side entrance of WH Smith.

Occupants in two separate cars became involved in a heated verbal exchange and it is alleged that a black Vauxhall Corsa was then damaged.

Both vehicles drove off together in the same direction. They turned left, onto Loch Promenade and travelled past Sam Webbs pub.

The area was busy at that time, about 2pm, and police say it is likely the incident would have been heard or seen by passers-by.
