Police have seized £40,000 in criminal proceeds after the Isle of Man Post Office intercepted a parcel.

The parcel containing the cash was due to be sent off island before it was stopped.

As a result, a man has appeared in court and entered a guilty plea to attempting to remove criminal property (the money) from the island.

The police said they ’would like to thank their partner agencies and in particular the Isle of Man Post Office who continue to support the police in their efforts to tackle organised crime’.
