Police are looking for witnesses who saw an assault in Douglas yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
The incident involved two men in the Castle Street at about 5pm.
The area was busy at the time with people walking and cycling through the streetand a number of onlookers witnessed the incident.
Two men were later arrested, one of whom was treated at Noble’s Hospital with facial injuries.
Sergeant Alan Shimmin said: ’I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to contact us. As well as people walking through the area at the time, there was a male on a pushbike and a male in a wheelchair also in the area.
’I am appealing to them to come forward.’
