A 33-year-old inmate at the Isle of Man prison has appeared in court charged with assaulting two prison officers.

Donovan Bradley Kitching, has pleaded guilty to the offences and the case was adjourned to allow time for the preparation of a probation report.

Defence advocate Deborah Myerscough said that issues had been raised by the report which required a further adjournment before sentencing. The case was adjourned until March 29.
