Jamie Christopher Hall, aged 29, care of the Isle of Man prison, has appeared in court charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply.
The charge relates to 170g of heroin worth £42,000.
The drugs were found in a plastic box at the base of a tree in Blackberry Lane in Onchan on March 13.
He will be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on August 27.
