Young drivers are putting their lives at risk by time trialing cars at high speed between Creg Ny Baa and Brandywell.

Police say the incidents have taken place on a few evenings in the past week.

Friends of the young drivers had filmed their antics at Windy Corner.

A police spokesman said: ’Quite simply they are putting themselves and others at risk of death or serious injury and this must stop at this or any other locations.

’Officers will be tasked with enforcement in relation to this issue.

’A road death creates a tragedy that impacts on so many people. Please think and please drive safe on the roads you share with others.’
