New Castletown Road in Santon will close tomorrow (Wednesday) as police focus on investigations following a fatal car crash.

From 10am to 2pm, the A5 Main Road from the junction of Ballavale Road to the Blackboards on Old Castletown Road will be closed.

Police are advising motorists to take the alternative routes of Old Castletown Road or St Marks.

A spokesman said: ’This work is to do further investigations into the fatal road traffic collision that happened there last month.’

Access will be maintained for residents.
