Police say scammers are trying to target those most in need during the virus crisis.

A 95-year-old woman in Ramsey reportedly took a call from someone claiming to be from a local nursing home

The caller asked if she was okay, where was her pension paid in, and did she have anyone to look after her.

Fortunately, she contacted the home, who as expected stated this was not them.
