Police say they are starting to get a growing number of reports about people failing to self-isolate.
A spokesman said: ’This selfish/irresponsible behaviour ties up officers chasing the reports up. This hampers our ability to deal with other issues and puts lives at risk.’
Anyone who is travelling back to the island by air or sea must self-isolate for 14 days, whether or not they have symptoms.
Those caught breaking the rules could face a £10,000 fine or three months in prison.
