A shoplifter took two bottles of aftershave from Boots, in Douglas.
Christopher John Christian, of Princes Avenue, Douglas, put a bottle of Hugo Boss aftershave inside his jacket and left the store without paying, before returning less than half an hour later and taking a second bottle.
The incident happened on December 8.
Christian, 31, admitted the offence and will be sentenced on March 12 after a probation report has been prepared.

Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the court that CCTV footage confirmed his identity but a search of his home did not find the bottles, said to be worth £36 each.
In a police interview Christian gave ’no comment’ responses to all questions.
The court heard that Christian received a suspended sentence in November 2018.
Defence advocate David Clegg asked for a probation report with input from mental health services.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered that the report consider all options, including custody.
Bail was granted.
