Have some respect and pick it up.

That’s the call from police after a recent spate of dog fouling in the grounds of Ashley Hill School, in Onchan.

In a police statement it says: ’Many owners are not picking up this waste and this is causing issues for children, their parents and staff at the school.

’This is simply not acceptable and understandably, the parents as well as the teachers want this to stop.

’The public are reminded that if they are caught not picking up dog waste then they may be prosecuted and face a hefty fine. Have some respect and pick it up!’
