A parade to acknowledge the efforts of the island’s key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic drew hundreds of spectators on Saturday.

People lined the TT course as more than 400 motorcyclists joined a cavalcade that included representatives of the emergency services and other key workers such as bus drivers, couriers and refuse collectors.

Waved off from the Grandstand at 3pm by Chief Minster Howard Quayle and Health Minister David Ashford, the parade, which was organised by Kevin Dodds, took approximately an hour and a half to wend its way round the 37.73 miles of the Mountain Course.
