Two teenagers, one from Laxey and one from Ramsey, have been bailed after being charged with burglary.

The defendants, who cannot be named due to their age, appeared before magistrates. They were said to have broken into the Spar shop in Parliament Street, Ramsey and stolen two bottles of rosé wine.

Their advocates, Jane Gray and Paul Glover, questioned the police evidence.

The teens were bailed to their home addressees in the sum of £200, and will next appear before the youth courts this week.
