Fire crews from Kirk Michael, Douglas and Ramsey spent two hours tackling a large blaze in Andreas.

Firefighters were called out to a fire on open land at Bernahara Road at about 11pm on Saturday.

The fire involved waste materials. Due to the remote location, a water relay was established to deliver water. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
