The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service used its turntable ladder to help remove an injured person from the top floor of a property in Douglas on Saturday.
Station officer Matt Tyrer explained: ’Fire crews from Douglas were mobilised by the emergency services joint control room to assist our colleagues from the Isle of Man Ambulance Service at a property at Mount Bradda in Douglas.
’Crews utilised an aerial appliance to create a safe egress point to extricate the casualty, who was removed from the building via a roof skylight, injuries are not thought to be serious. ’
