Three men have appeared in court charged with drug-related offences.
Keith Andre Anthony Bernard, aged 63, of Albany Road, in Douglas, is accused of possession of diazepam, acquiring criminal property, and transferring criminal property.
David John Alsop, aged 52, of Ballacottier Meadow, in Douglas, is charged with four counts of acquiring or possessing criminal property, and one count of possession of cannabis.
Bail
Jamie Mark Smith, aged 31, of Queens Promenade, in Douglas, is accused of concealing, converting or transferring criminal property along with two counts of acquiring or possessing criminal property.
Mr Bernard and Mr Alsop were both committed to the Court of General Gaol.
They will appear on a date to be set and both were granted bail.
Meanwhile, Mr Smith’s defence advocate, David Reynolds, asked for the case to be adjourned for seven days.
He explained that he wanted to review the papers in the case.
Mr Smith will appear before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes on Tuesday (February 19).
Mrs Hughes ordered Mr Smith to forfeit £50 of his £500 bail recognisance after arriving late for court.
